I dug this Topaz out of a creek in Beechworth region Victoria. It was faceted by Bradly Hanson on the South Coast.
Locally dug and faceted stones are not common, most people get their stones cut overseas and often come out with sub par quality work.
The price reflects a master cutters work. A rare opportunity to not only own a Victorian gemstone, but also own a piece of a dying art that is faceting.
