Amythest Sceptre .925 Silver Necklace Pendant
Amythest Sceptre .925 Silver Necklace Pendant
It's taken years of searching to find larger amythest points in Beechworth Victoria.
Amythest used to be considered a knoble gemstone, prior to large deposit of it being found in Brazil and Zimbabwe which ultimately saturated the market.
It is my own personal belief that whilst you can certainly get amazing amythest out of these countries, there is still something more special, and indeed rare, about a stone dug not in the most abundant place on earth, but one of the least.
Beechworth amythest can produce gem quality stones worth cutting. Of which we have now found a few. But these points are special because they form as single, fully formed sceptres, and not as clusters.
Mixed with a hint of smokey quartz, the stone is mounted on a 925 silver bail, waiting for you to add a chain, and show off this geological marvel.
