Aragonite is a high-pressure polymorph of calcium carbonate, commonly forming in low-temperature hydrothermal veins, hot springs, and caves. It is also biogenic, forming the shells of many organisms and coral.
Specimens vary because, you know, they are natural and shit.

Fascinating piece of geology and awesome to look at. All faces polished perfectly and the bottom of mine was on a angle giving it dramatic positioning possibilities
