These gems and crystals were mined in the North East of Victoria. They are mixed With their original matrix, the host bed where they grew, offering a unique opportunity to see the soil they formed in.

I have added cons from my sluicing operation from the nearby Reedy Creek. Where a lot of gemstones are recovered each year.

Use a kitchen strainer, gold pan and water to classify and sort through your gemstones. Keep an eye out for small pieces of gold ✨️ 💛 👌

Lots of lovely gems including polished quartz and tiny peridot, some of the garnets may be big enough to facet. And I found three specs of gold.
