Do you remember as a kid getting a little bag of lollies for like $1 from the corner shop? And the best part was they were pre made with all your favourite tooth decaying treats, you weren't exactly sure what you were going to get, but you knew it would be great.
That's what this is but for prospectors.
It's a lucky dip filled with some spectacular stuff, every jar has gold, gemstones, crystals and of course a random item found metal detecting.
Mixed amongst these jars are:
- Gold specimens
- Gold Nuggets
- 2 GIA certificated, faceted 0.10ct diamonds ($20 rrp each)
- Flour gold
- smokey quartz crystals
- quartz crystals
- Raw NE Saphires
- cassiterite concentrates with gold
You might get all or some or double of what's on that list. But you will absolutely walk away with a smile.
Use your pan and some water to sort though it. The diamonds are in only 2 of the jars and they are small, so go slow and carefully!

My lucky dip was amazing, it delivered everything it promised and more! There was an amazing array of crystals, Paydirt concentrate, a gold on quartz specimen, old bullet and a few other stones I'm yet to identify. But most importantly it took me back to my youth with the anticipation and excitement of opening my lucky dip and seeing what awesome things I got, and that feeling my friends is priceless.
