Sapphire Slobber Bags (Unsearched Gemstone Pay-Dirt)
This is true unsearched sapphire paydirt from the FNQ gemfeilds around Emerald, Sapphire, Rubyvale and Anakie.
The process is simple, the miners peg a $500 claim and start digging for river wash in long forgotten deep Leeds.
The river was is either manually sieved to concentrate the sapphires and other gemstones with the other heavier materials like ironstone. Or they use automated jigs to do the same thing.
Once concentrated it's a matter of flipping the sieve over and using your eyes to search for the precious stones. They can be as small as a pin head or as large as a tennis ball.
This particular paydirt is made up of unsearch cons from a jig. Specifically the small sized material. And I can tell you it's loaded!
Every spoonful I've done reveals dozens of gemstones. From raw sapphires and zircons to all other manner of volcanic mineral.
This lot was mined by the Better Ridge Saphire mine. You can see their operation on both social media and their website 👉 https://betteridgesapphires.com.au/pages/about-australian-sapphire
You can either sieve it in a kitchen strainer, pan it in a gold pan or go though it by eye.
The first 35 bags sold will also give a portion of their profits to Integra Service Dogs 🐕.
$2.50 from each bag will be donated to Integra Service Dogs to help cover the costs of training, food and vet bills that each dog needs to become a fully certified Service Dog.
This will be donated on film once the first 35 bags have been shipped or on the 1st of September. Whichever is first.
